II. Being a good project manager isn’t about being the smartest person in the room, but someone who have a wide range of knowledge and skills. It is essential in this field to have confidence and practice continual learning and close engagement with the team members. V. Try getting a project management related job in a big city or town as the pay will definitely be higher in a city as compared to a more rural area. And in big cities, people of the same capabilities and skill sets get promoted faster and easier than those in more rural area.

VI. Last but not least, surely one with ample hands-on experience while the internship program will find it earlier to get a project management job as compared to one who are freshly graduated from a project management school with equivalent certificate. The success of a project manager is not academically driven but very much relies on the soft skills and the hard skills of the project manager himself and how well he/she is to blend oneself into the new project and new environment.
